The 551 weighs 230 g, requires four LR44 batteries for the reticle illumination and is made of aluminium alloy. An additional non-reflective and scratch-resistant coating provides sufficient protection against physical damage and weathering.
The design with a 30x23 mm objective window provides a wide angle of view and improved visibility. It is equipped with a red "circle with dot" aiming reticle with adjustable brightness and is adjustable in height and tilt. This guarantees extremely fast and precise target acquisition.
