The Barrett REC7 MK3 SBR by Krytac is an updated iteration of a highly successful and recognizable AR‑15 replica—an elegant yet highly versatile mix packaged in a compact and lightweight form. Compared to previous versions, the MK3 model introduces numerous enhancements to the gearbox and internal components. It is designed as a “compact” model, making it the shortest of all REC7 variants, with a strong focus on maneuverability rather than brute force or suppressive fire.

The REC7 MK3 SBR is manufactured using modern casting and machining technologies. The upper and lower receiver, outer barrel, and buffer tube are made from metal alloys in a precise and rigorous production process. The lightweight handguard is CNC-machined from aircraft‑grade 6061‑T6 aluminum. All elements are coated in a matte, scratch‑resistant, non-reflective finish, protecting the replica from common external damage and rough field use.
Smaller elements such as takedown pins and QD slots are machined from steel for maximum durability.
Only the pistol grip, stock, and magazine are made from high-quality polymers that are lightweight yet durable.

The REC7 MK3 uses a standard AR‑15 upper and lower receiver, well-known for excellent ergonomics and broad compatibility with aftermarket parts. The replica accepts standard AR‑15‑pattern magazines.
A 267 mm aluminum outer barrel houses a 280 mm high‑precision 6.05 mm inner barrel. The barrel ends with a two‑chamber flash hider mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread.
The 6‑position collapsible stock is comfortable and easily adjustable to users’ builds and preferences. It also houses the battery. Angled cheek pads increase contact surface and improve aiming comfort.
The REC7 features an ambidextrous selector switch, enabling comfortable operation for both right‑ and left‑handed players—an essential feature in fast‑paced airsoft environments.

At the front of the replica is a high-quality free‑float aluminum handguard equipped with multiple M‑LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. Combined with a single long RIS rail formed from two segments linking the handguard and the upper receiver, players can mount any accessories suited to their preferences or mission requirements.
