The CM040D is a modernized AK‑pattern rifle equipped with a mid‑length barrel and a left‑folding stock: an excellent blend of compact CQB performance and mid‑range capability.  Its combination of steel, aluminium alloy and reinforced polymer provides strength, stability and optimal handling.

Key structural parts — including the receiver, gas tube, dust cover and muzzle brake — are made from steel, giving the replica a realistic feel and long‑term durability.  The outer barrel, gas block and sights are crafted from aluminium alloy for added robustness without excessive weight.

The pistol grip, handguard, stock shell and magazine are made from reinforced polymer, improving ergonomics and reducing overall weight.  A left‑side AK‑style dovetail rail is integrated into the receiver, allowing players to mount optics or red‑dot sights easily.

Inside, the reinforced **metal V3 gearbox** ensures stable, consistent performance and serves as an excellent base for future tuning or internal upgrades.
