The CM048 is one of Cyma’s most authentic full‑length AK replicas, featuring a **traditional wooden handguard and stock** combined with a **steel body** for maximum realism and robustness.  Its full-length design offers excellent shooting stability and a classic AK experience.

Most of the structural components are made from **steel**, including the receiver, dust cover, trigger guard and the distinctive AK muzzle brake.  The handguard and stock are crafted from high‑quality **plywood**, lacquered to replicate the look of the original AK‑style rifles.

The outer barrel, gas system components and sights are manufactured from aluminium alloy, offering a solid balance between durability and manageable weight.  The 14 mm CCW threaded barrel allows the attachment of various muzzle devices, such as tracer units or mock suppressors.

Internally, the CM048 is equipped with a **reinforced metal V3 gearbox**, delivering reliable out‑of‑the‑box performance and serving as an excellent foundation for internal upgrades and tuning projects.
