KRISS Vector G2 V2, manufactured by Krytac, is an officially licensed replica of one of the most unusual submachine guns developed in recent years. The real firearm utilizes the Super V system which, paired with an unconventional delayed blowback mechanism, is designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb during shooting.

The original, first-generation model was designed in 2006 and revised in 2007. The second generation was announced during the 2011 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Its key difference lies in the lower receiver construction intended for straightforward caliber conversions using takedown pins—allowing quick swaps between 9x19 mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP receivers.
The Super V system allows the bolt and an inertia block to move down into a recess behind the magazine, redirecting energy downward rather than backward and thereby minimizing recoil and muzzle rise. Another hallmark of this system is the inline barrel placement with the shooter’s shoulder and hand, further reducing perceived recoil.

Like the original firearm, the replica’s body, stock, and most external components are injection-molded from high-quality fiber-reinforced polymers. The outer barrel, Picatinny rail segments, charging handle, and other small parts are cast, molded, or CNC-machined from metal. Both receivers are mounted to an internal aluminum skeleton and feature a split design for easy access to the internals.
The lower receiver integrates the magwell and the mock recoil-mitigating system found in the real firearm, with the internal space used to house the custom V2 gearbox.

The integrated handguard supports customization via Picatinny rails at the top, bottom, and sides. The side rail is detachable and can be swapped to the left or right side, letting players configure the Vector to their preferences and mission requirements.
The upper receiver is paired with a fixed pistol grip holding the battery, a right-side folding stock, and a single long top Picatinny rail. Ambidextrous safety levers and fire selectors ensure comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users.
In this G2 V2 configuration, the original folding stock is replaced with a collapsible one, improving comfort, versatility, and battery capacity. Its low profile minimizes snagging in the field without limiting adjustability for taller users. The inline upper Picatinny rail and cheek rest simplify and speed up aiming down the sights.

At the core of the replica is a custom V2 gearbox paired with a short Neo High Torque motor, generating around 345 FPS / 1.1 J with 0.20 g BBs. Safety levers and selectors are placed on both sides of the body, making it a great choice for ambidextrous users. The outer barrel houses a 155 mm inner barrel and ends with a 14 mm CCW thread fitted with a birdcage-type muzzle device.
While the shell is dedicated to this platform, most internal elements remain compatible with the V2 standard, making tuning and upgrades straightforward. The adjustable hop-up stabilizes the BB in flight and increases accuracy.

The V2 model has been significantly upgraded compared to the previous iteration. It features a reinforced gearbox with steel bushings, a ported full-metal piston rack, and an integrated FET providing active braking, low-battery detection, and gear-strip protection. The high-torque motor combined with a micro-switch e-trigger improves consistency and reaction time. Altogether, the upgrade package boosts reliability, durability, and versatility.
