To address the common drawbacks of suppressed pistols—added length, weight, and bulk—SilencerCo engineered a modular baffle system that is significantly lighter and shorter than traditional suppressor setups.

In its short configuration, the real Maxim 9 delivers hearing‑safe suppression with subsonic ammunition. In full‑size form, the same effect applies to standard ammunition, making the Maxim 9 one of the most versatile suppressed handgun platforms available.

The airsoft Maxim 9 is built with the same philosophy of durability and precision. The frame is molded from reinforced polymer with a textured surface for optimal grip. The enlarged trigger guard ensures comfortable operation even when wearing tactical or insulated gloves. The suppressor shell and slide are CNC‑machined from black‑anodized 6061‑T6 aluminium for strength, rigidity, and longevity.

The optic cut is compatible with the Krytac Multi‑Footprint plate, supporting RMR, RMRcc, and RMS red‑dot optics (plates sold separately). All materials used are highly resistant to scratches and physical impact, ensuring long‑term reliability of internal components.

The Maxim 9 accepts both green‑gas and CO₂ magazines without modification. This version includes one 24‑round green‑gas magazine. The pistol is fully ambidextrous, offering intuitive control for both left‑ and right‑handed users.

It is designed to be compatible with an optional extension kit, allowing installation of an Acetech BiFrost tracer unit.
