Opis
The Super Peak charger is a simple but powerful charger for NiMH and NiCD batteries. It is controlled by a 12 bit microprocessor. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the charger signals this and automatically stops the charging process and switches to maintaining the charge. This prevents the battery from being overcharged. The Super Peak charger must not be used for Lipo batteries. The charging current can be set to 0.75 or 1.5 amps. The charger is suitable for batteries with 4 to 8 cells (4.8 to 9.6V), a large type plug (Tamyia) is attached, an adapter for mini type plug (Mini Tamyia) is also included.Important notes for the operation of the charger:
- No Lipo or Lifepo batteries may be charged
- First the charger must be plugged into the socket. The LED lights up briefly and there is a beep.
- Then set the charging current, we recommend 0.75A, this is more gentle on the battery. If you need to charge quickly, you can switch to 1.5A without any problems.
- Afterwards, plug the battery into the designated connector. If you have a mini type battery, you must use the adapter plug supplied.
- As soon as the battery is plugged in, a beep sounds and the LED flashes. The charging process has not yet been started.
- Then press Start until a beep sounds and the red LED lights up permanently. The charging process has started.
- As soon as the charging process is completed, the device automatically sets to conservation of charge. The LED will now flash and the device will beep 10 times.
- You can now unplug and use the battery.
- Only unplug the charger after the battery has been unplugged.
- Please note that a brand-new battery usually requires several charging cycles until it reaches its optimal performance level.
