The Trident LMG MP by Krytac is an updated iteration of a highly successful and recognizable AR-15/LMG hybrid replica—an elegant yet highly versatile mix in a compact and lightweight package. Compared to previous versions, the MP model replaces the Keymod slots with a more common M-LOK system and introduces numerous enhancements to the gearbox and internal elements. Designed as a “Para” model, it serves as the smaller and more agile brother of the full-sized Trident, prioritizing mobility over brute force or suppressive fire.

The LMG MP is manufactured using modern casting and machining technologies. The upper and lower receiver, the outer barrel, and the collapsible stock are all made from durable metal alloys. The lightweight handguard is CNC-machined from aluminium. All components are finished with a matte black, scratch-resistant, non-reflective coating that protects the replica from common external damage and rough field conditions.
Smaller components such as takedown pins and QD sling points are machined from steel to ensure maximum durability.
Only the pistol grip, stock body, and magazine are made from high-quality polymers that are lightweight while remaining robust.

The LMG M uses a standard AR-15 lower receiver, well-known for excellent ergonomics and broad compatibility with aftermarket parts. It accepts both standard AR-15 magazines and dedicated high-capacity box magazines.
The Trident is equipped with an ambidextrous selector switch and an ambidextrous magazine release, offering comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users—a crucial feature in fast-paced airsoft environments.
The upper receiver is the key defining feature. Modeled after the MCR machine gun receiver, it includes a left-side charging handle and a spring-loaded, button-secured top cover with a single Picatinny rail. This modified upper mimics the appearance and basic function of a real belt-fed system. A 228 mm aluminium outer barrel houses a 310 mm precision inner barrel with a diameter of 6.03 mm. The barrel ends in a birdcage-style flash hider mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread.
The low-profile collapsible stock is comfortable and easy to adjust to user preference and build. It features an anti-slip rubber pad and QD slots for attached slings.

At the front of the replica, a high-quality free-float aluminium handguard provides eleven M-LOK attachment points: three at 9, 12, and 3 o’clock, and two at 6 o’clock. Additionally, a two-slot Picatinny rail section sits on the gas block. Combined with the long top RIS rail, this allows the shooter to mount accessories according to personal preference or mission requirements.

The heart of the replica is a reinforced Nautilus V2 gearbox, Gate Titan ready, equipped with 8 mm high-performance bearings, a ported full-metal piston, a high-torque motor, and a quick spring change system. These strengthened internal components greatly improve reliability and durability. The rotary hop-up system stabilizes the BB more effectively, offering improved range and consistent accuracy.
The electronics are upgraded with an enhanced FET system that includes active braking, low-voltage detection, and an e-trigger with a micro switch. These features deliver excellent trigger response, reduced power draw, and strong protection of the electronic circuit.

Thanks to high-quality materials, precise engineering, and a well-thought-out design, the Trident LMG M is an excellent light machine gun replica—compact enough not to hinder maneuverability, yet powerful enough to deliver accurate or suppressive fire during both simple skirmishes and complex milsim scenarios.
