ARO EVO or Advanced Rifle Optics EVOlved, is a new, compact-sized red / green dot sight designed and manufactured by Holosun for use as a primary aiming system with submachine guns, pistol caliber carbines, and full-sized rifles.
The device offers a new SPR Special Purpose Reticle with a bullet-drop compensation, Lower 1/3 Co-Witness mount, multiple brightness settings, and a solar panel with an automatic shut-down system to conserve energy.

CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy anodized with a matte coating, ARO EVO weighs 170g and measures 73 x 42 x 68 mm. It is also IPX8-rated, making it dust- and waterproof. Durable and robust construction secures the sight from falls and kinetic impulses up to 1000g.

The 26mm lens glass is layered in an anti-scratch multi-coating with reflection-nullifying properties. A 2 MOA-sized green dot and bullet-drop reticle with a 1/2 MOA adjustment per click is available. The LED emitter offers four NV modes and eight brightness levels. With no parallax, unlimited eye relief, and 50 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range, ARO EVO guarantees quick and accurate target acquisition at intermediate distances in all weather and light conditions.

The power is provided by a single CR2032 battery in a screw-secured tray, which gives it a running time of 50000 hours at a medium brightness setting. It also features rubberized controls and a "Shake Awake" system that helps conserve the battery. The additional solar panel on top and the "Solar Failsafe" system amplify brightness settings. The system turns the sight off after a specified time and needs only a slight movement to reactivate the device.

The set includes a low mount, 1/3 Co-Witness mount, a cleaning cloth, and an installation set with keys.
