KRISS Vector, manufactured by Krytac, is an officially licensed replica of one of the most unique submachine guns developed in recent years. The real firearm utilizes the Super V system, which, in combination with an unconventional delayed blowback mechanism, is designed to reduce perceived recoil and muzzle climb during shooting.

The original, first-generation firearm was designed in 2006, with a redesign introduced in 2007. The second generation was unveiled during the 2011 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The difference lies in the lower receiver construction, which enables easier caliber conversions. This is achieved via takedown pins, allowing quick swaps between 9x19mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP receivers.
The Super V system allows the bolt and an inertia block to move downward into a recess behind the magazine. This redirects the recoil energy downward rather than backward, minimizing felt recoil and muzzle rise. Another characteristic feature of the system is that the barrel sits in line with the shooter’s hand and shoulder, contributing to further recoil reduction.

Just like the real firearm, the replica’s body, stock, and most external components are injection-molded from high-quality fiber-reinforced polymers. The outer barrel, Picatinny rail segments, charging handle, and other small elements are cast, molded, or CNC machined from metal. Both receivers attach to an internal aluminum skeleton and feature a split construction, giving easy access to the replica’s internals. The lower receiver is integrated with the magwell and the mock recoil-mitigating system found in the original firearm. The space created by this design houses the custom V2 gearbox.
The integrated handguard allows customization thanks to Picatinny rails on the top, bottom, and sides. The side rail is detachable and can be mounted on the left or right, enabling players to configure the Vector to match their personal preferences or game requirements.
The upper receiver is paired with a fixed pistol grip that holds the battery, a right-side folding stock, and a long Picatinny rail. Ambidextrous safety levers and fire selectors allow comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users.
The right-side folding stock is comfortable to use. The stock pad is positioned slightly downward, providing better comfort and alignment when aiming despite the compact overall design.

At the core of the replica is a custom V2 gearbox paired with a short Neo High Torque motor, generating around 0.5J with 0.20g BBs. Safety and fire selector levers are placed on both sides of the receiver, making the Vector a suitable choice for ambidextrous players. The outer barrel holds a 155mm inner barrel and ends with a 14mm CCW thread fitted with a birdcage-type muzzle device.
Although the shell is designed exclusively for this platform, most internal components are compatible with standard V2 parts, making tuning and upgrading more accessible. The hop-up unit is easy to adjust and stabilizes the BB in flight to improve shot consistency and accuracy.
The V2 model has received significant enhancements compared to the previous version. It now features a reinforced gearbox with steel bushings, a full-metal piston rack, and an integrated FET system that provides active braking, low-voltage protection, and gear strip prevention. The high-torque motor combined with a microswitch-equipped electronic trigger improves responsiveness and consistency. This upgraded package increases the replica’s reliability, durability, and overall versatility.
