The SilencerCo Maxim 9 is the officially licensed Airsoft Gas Blowback replica manufactured by Krytac. The real firearm was developed by SilencerCo, a company well‑known for producing high‑quality firearm suppressors and supporting customers in the regulatory approval process. Years of suppressor engineering experience were used to create a uniquely innovative suppressed handgun platform unlike anything else on the market.

The real Maxim 9 is currently the only commercially available handgun with a fully integrated suppressor. It is also one of the few suppressed firearms whose length and suppression performance can be adjusted via modular components. To solve the long‑standing problem of weight and bulk associated with suppressed pistols, SilencerCo used a modular baffle system, resulting in a significantly shorter and lighter overall package.

In its short configuration, the real Maxim 9 provides hearing‑safe suppression with subsonic ammunition. In full‑size configuration, the same effect applies to standard ammunition, making the Maxim 9 one of the most versatile suppressed pistols in existence.

The Airsoft Maxim 9 is built with the same attention to detail:  The frame is molded from reinforced polymer with an aggressive texture for improved grip. The enlarged trigger guard ensures comfortable operation even while wearing tactical or insulated gloves.  The suppressor housing and slide are CNC‑machined from black‑anodized 6061‑T6 aluminium, ensuring excellent durability and structural rigidity.  The optic cut accepts the Krytac Multi‑Footprint Plate for RMR, RMRcc and RMS optics (sold separately).

The chosen materials offer excellent resistance to scratches, impacts, and field abrasion. The Maxim 9 accepts both gas and CO₂ magazines without modification. This version is supplied with a 24‑round CO₂ magazine.

A unique feature of the Airsoft model is the fire selector hidden at the rear of the slide, allowing the user to switch between semi‑automatic and full‑automatic firing modes.  The pistol is fully ambidextrous and perfectly suited for both left‑ and right‑handed players.

The modular suppressor body of the replica visually imitates the real suppression system. It is engineered to be compatible with an extension kit (sold separately) that allows mounting an Acetech BiFrost tracer unit. A fixed threaded inner barrel is installed to secure the tracer module.  Additional integrated KeyMod slots provide mounting options for tactical accessories such as flashlights or laser units.

To increase authenticity, official SilencerCo markings are engraved into the appropriate external components of the replica. Combined with high‑quality materials and an advanced, precise manufacturing process, the Maxim 9 GBB offers a futuristic appearance with premium performance.
