The Trident LMG-MP by Krytac is an updated iteration of the well-known Trident LMG series — a compact and versatile AR-15/LMG hybrid platform. The “MP” (Para) variant focuses on maneuverability and speed while retaining the fire support capabilities of its larger sibling. Compared to earlier versions, the LMG-MP replaces Keymod with the widely used M-LOK system and introduces multiple internal upgrades to enhance reliability and performance.

The LMG-MP is made using modern casting and machining processes. The upper and lower receivers, outer barrel, and collapsible stock are produced from durable metal alloys. The lightweight free-float handguard is CNC-machined from aluminum.  All external components are coated in a matte black, scratch-resistant, anti-reflective finish, protecting the replica from harsh conditions and field abuse.

Smaller components such as takedown pins, QD sling points, and structural hardware are machined from steel for maximum durability.  Only the pistol grip, stock body, and magazine are made from reinforced polymer to keep the overall weight low while maintaining strength.

The LMG-MP uses a standard AR-15 lower receiver, known for excellent ergonomics and broad aftermarket compatibility. It accepts both AR-15-pattern magazines and dedicated box magazines — ideal for switching between rifleman and support roles.

The Trident LMG-MP is equipped with fully ambidextrous controls, including a selector switch and magazine release. This ensures easy and intuitive operation for both right- and left-handed players — a major advantage in dynamic airsoft environments.

The upper receiver is what truly differentiates the LMG-MP. Modeled after the MCR-style light machine gun receiver, it features a left-side charging handle and a hinged top cover secured by a spring-loaded button, complete with a Picatinny rail.  This configuration emulates the aesthetics and handling of a belt-fed weapon.  A 228 mm aluminum outer barrel houses a 310 mm precision inner barrel (6.03 mm). The barrel ends with a birdcage-style flash hider mounted on a 14 mm CCW thread.

The low-profile collapsible stock is comfortable, adjustable, and equipped with an anti-slip rubber pad and QD slots for sling attachment. It offers ergonomic adjustability for players of different builds.

At the front, the LMG-MP features a free-float aluminum handguard with eleven M-LOK attachment slots:  • Three at 9, 12, and 3 o’clock  • Two at 6 o’clock  An additional two-slot Picatinny section is mounted on the gas block.  Together with the full-length top RIS rail, this allows players to mount optics, grips, lights, lasers, and mission-specific accessories.

Inside the replica lies a reinforced Nautilus V2 gearbox (Gate Titan-ready) equipped with:  • 8 mm high-performance bearings  • Ported full-metal piston  • High-torque motor  • Quick spring change system  The rotary hop-up stabilizes BBs more efficiently, increasing range, consistency, and accuracy.

The upgraded electronic system includes an enhanced FET with active braking, low-battery detection, and a micro-switch e-trigger. These features deliver crisp trigger response, reduced power consumption, and reliable electrical protection.
